This summer it will be possible to exchange Monopoly game notes for medium drinks and McFlurrys at McDonald’s. The bad news is that brand activation is only available in Spain. However, nothing prevents you from visiting one of the brand’s 580 restaurants in the land of “our brothers” and taking advantage of the campaign, which also has 9 million prizes at stake until August 31.
This initiative is part of McDonald’s Summer Monopoly, which is coming to Spanish territory for the third year in a row and allows customers to buy medium drinks and McFlurry ice cream in exchange for Monopoly cards. By participating in this action, consumers will receive a token for each product, along with two large beverages.
With these codes, they can redeem prizes, which include cars, trips, experiences, gaming products, motorbikes, discounts, McDonald’s products, and more. Some can be obtained instantly, and others require more tokens to be collected in order for consumers to be eligible to earn them.
The fast food brand commitment is based on an external communication strategy, on billboards and bus shelters, and on social media – Instagram, TikTok and McDonald’s website.
