Apparently, Xiaomi will be able to present a new top of the range as early as the end of February, at Mobile World Congress 2023.
The new smartphone will be Xiaomi 13S Ultra, which will integrate Leica cameras and more premium specifications. But best of all, this model could be launched globally soon.
Xiaomi 13S Ultra could be presented at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona
Previous rumors had already advanced that Xiaomi could introduce another new model in the 13 series, when it was launched globally.
Now these rumors are ramping up and 91Mobiles claims that the model will be the Xiaomi 13S Ultra which will have Leica stamping all over the optics. This is, in fact, one of the strongest arguments for the purchase of this new model, which will be aimed at photography.
According to the same source, the Xiaomi 13S Ultra will have a quad rear camera setup with four 50MP sensors. The size of the primary sensor will be one inch and is likely to be the same as that of the Xiaomi 13 Pro model.
Other sources say that the new Ultra will feature a Periscope sensor that “would shock everyone with its monstrous performance.” Unfortunately, no one specifies how shocked we can be, but expectations are now high, hoping that this sensor will arrive with innovative high specifications.
Very little information is known, knowing for now only that the new Ultra will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and that it will have a Quad HD display.
It seems that the Chinese brand has chosen the stage for the Mobile World Congress, which this year runs from February 27 to March 2 in Barcelona. However, this information has not been confirmed by Xiaomi. By the way, the company has not yet confirmed that it will be present at the well-known European mobile event.
Xiaomi 13 series could be presented at the end of January
Meanwhile, also today, the Xiaomiui website is advancing the possibility of the Xiaomi 13 series being officially presented globally before the end of January. All because the experts on this site have found references to the launch in the code of the new MIUI 14 interface.
But even if the Chinese brand remains silent about the matter, in December, Lei Jun, CEO of Xiaomi, posted on his Twitter account that the launch of the latest of the best series in international markets would be soon.
Considering that it is already January 9, it is very likely that in the next few days the Chinese brand will begin to carry out the usual promotional launch campaign on social networks and reveal more juicy details about this long-awaited series .
