Although Xiaomi has finished releasing the HyperOS Beta software to users in the general format, the company still has to keep some components of the system accessible in this format – and one of them will be some of the apps built into it.
One example is the HyperOS Launcher, which should keep its beta version available for users to test out new features. Xiaomi is apparently already working on some of them.
5,000 vacancies were recently made available for testing the new version of HyperOS Launcher, which, as it turned out, were also filled quickly. Users were selected through registrations made on the Xiaomi community, and the tests are available for the following devices:
- Xiaomi 12
- Xiaomi 12S
- Xiaomi 13
- Xiaomi 14
- Xiaomi 14 Pro
- Xiaomi 14 Ultra
- Xiaomi Mix Fold 3
- Redmi K70
- Redmi K70 Pro
- Redmi Note 13
- Redmi Note 13 Pro
- Xiaomi civi 4 pro
- Redmi Turbo 3
According to Xiaomi’s list of changes, the new beta brings improvements in terms of customization, which should allow users to further customize the system and screen to their liking. Improvements have also been made to the app layout to better organize installed apps and existing shortcuts.
As always, considering that this is a beta version, there are still some bugs and flaws that the company needs to fix before the final version arrives.
