In recent years, WWE has had a well-defined schedule for WrestleMania weekend, featuring multiple shows over several days.
On Friday night, it’s SmackDown and Hall of Fame, on Saturday afternoon there’s NXT Stand & Deliver, and on Saturday and Sunday nights we have WrestleMania.
However, this calendar may change in 2024. On Twitter, WrestleVotes revealed that the NXT Stand & Deliver days may change during WrestleMania weekend.
Following the announcement that NXT would air on The CW, discussions began that Stand & Deliver would not be held on a Saturday afternoon, but would instead be held on a Thursday night.
In other words, the idea is put Premium live event from NXT to open hostilities at WrestleMania Weekend.
Within WWE, there are those who support the idea of holding Stand & Deliver on a Thursday night, and there are those who argue that it is better not to change the WrestleMania weekend calendar.
In the wake of CW’s announcement, I’m told that discussions have taken place regarding a PLE show for NXT’s “Stand & Deliver” scheduled for WrestleMania weekend. Those were discussions about the location of the show.
The source states that there is support for the display to “unlock” this weekend…
