Elton John and his husband David Furnish, in collaboration with Christie's Auction House, will launch a series of eight sales featuring items from the artist's home in Atlanta, USA.
Many items have been custom-made for his two-story mansion, called The Park Place, since he acquired the property in 1992.
With a wide range of unique pieces, from a bespoke Damien Hirst costume to an extravagant 18th century costume designed by Sandy Powell, the Sir Elton John collection reflects the sensibility of a unique artist whose work and vision are admired around the world.
Among the collectibles are pictures of Andy Warhol and Helmut Newton or even a collection of Versace silk shirts, which are evidence of Elton John's friendship with Gianni Versace.
You can also find the musician's grand piano, his 1990 Bentley convertible, and several watches such as the Cartier Tank and Cartier Crash.

The public exhibition of the Sir Elton John Collection takes place at Christie's New York from 9 to 21 February 2024. Online sales are open and bids can be made from 9 February, closing on 27 or 28 February.
