At the event, the Tondela Chamber honored 12 employees over 25 years of service and several others who have already retired, awarding them medals and diplomas for their enthusiasm, perseverance and commitment to service.
The eighth issue of Dom Jaime culture books issued by the municipality was also displayed. The publication, 104 pages long, contains more than a dozen articles dedicated to figures such as Tomaz Ribeiro Colaso, Pedro de Figueiredo, Rodrigo de Mello, Jorge Rey Calaco, and Antonio Cuadros, among others.
The municipality’s culture advisor, João Carlos Figueredo, emphasized that the caderno “is a cultural reference that goes far beyond the municipality’s borders” and also constitutes a “cultural confirmation of the identity” of the municipality.
