ShA woman took to social media to seek revenge after she felt mistreated by staff at a luxury store in Chongqing, China.
The woman was quoted by the international press as saying that she went to a Louis Vuitton store, where the employees were impatient, only showing her clothes outside the new collection, and even refusing to give her water. Remember that drinks are usually served in these types of stores, which are coffee or champagne. The woman also said that she decided to file a complaint with the brand, which never responded.
According to what the woman wrote on the Chinese platform Xiaohongshu, she held a grudge for two months before she devised a plan for revenge – perhaps inspired by the movie “Pretty Woman.” [‘Um sonho de Mulher’, na tradução em português]when the main character is also mistreated in a fancy store because of her appearance, and then later returns in different clothes, and is treated differently.
While in the movie, starring Julia Roberts, the woman simply said it was “so wrong” for them to treat her that way, the woman in China ended up moving on.
According to the South China Morning Post, user Xiaohongshu said she returned with two other people, tried on almost all the clothes available in the store and drank champagne.
When it came time to pay for what she had pretended to choose, the woman decided to pay in cash, forcing the staff to count out 600,000 yuan, or about 75,293 euros.
According to what she said on the platform, the woman saw employees counting all the money and then telling them that she had changed her mind and that she would not be buying the brand’s products after all. “When they finished telling me that, I took my money and left. How can I buy their products to improve their professional performance?” she wrote, apparently referring to sales by goals, which are evaluated in some stores.
Some users commented on social media, noting that this was the “best revenge of the year” and that this was a “well-deserved ending.”
