Microsoft recently introduced the new update for Windows 11 23H2, which brings with it some new features for the system and many general improvements and bug fixes.
As always, users tend to update to new versions as they become available, or Windows performs this process automatically. However, for those who switched to Windows 11 23H2, they may also have experienced some performance losses.
Apparently, the new Windows 11 update seems to be causing some problems for some users, who are noticing significant differences in performance compared to previous versions of the system.
from Reddit, many users confirm that after installing Windows 11 23H2, the system lost a significant amount of ultimate performance. In some cases, using CPU benchmarking systems, users notice a 5-8% drop in performance compared to previous versions of Windows.
This issue appears to have occurred to users who upgraded from older versions of Windows 11. There are some reports that also suggest that the issue may be related to Windows virtualization technology, Hyper-V, which was found active for some functions within the system.
However, as of now, there is still no exact confirmation about the origin of the problems. Microsoft has also not officially confirmed that there are performance issues with Windows 11 in its latest version.
