During Saturday’s Full Gear show, Will Ospreay was introduced as AEW’s new big signing, following rumors circulating the past few days.
At yesterday’s big event, Tony Schiavone took to the ring and announced that Will Ospreay would be the new fighter signed by AEW.
After the Englishman signed the contract, he made it clear that he would first finish his contractual obligations in NJPW, that he would come to AEW on his way to Revolution, and that he would show what it truly meant to be an All Elite.
Therefore, the “Air Assassin” will remain in NJPW until February 2024, and then head to AEW with the aim of his first major event next year.
