“The Original White Remember – Festa Branca 2024” will be held, at the Clube Naval do Funchal, on September 14, as explained in the press release.
“After the resounding success of the previous edition, Clube Naval do Funchal and Enseada Food and Drinks – Castanheiro Boutique Hotel enthusiastically announce the 2024 edition of The Original White Remember – Festa Branca. This iconic event, which has become a tradition in Madeira, is scheduled to take place on September 14, at the Clube Naval do Funchal headquarters, on Rua da Quinta Calaça, and promises to be another unforgettable night of music, gastronomy and entertainment,” the document confirms.

Stage Zone 2024: The 2024 edition promises to be even more vibrant, with a carefully selected musical line-up:
6:00pm – 7:30pm: DJ Vitor Freitas
Vítor Freitas returns to open the night, offering a mix of electronic sounds that will ensure the perfect start to the party. He has played in some famous bars such as Barreirinha Bar Café, Copacabana, Old Rock Café, Terreiro, Dash, Mini Eco Bar, Praia do Garajau, TRAP among others, and private events, and is also a regular at CNF events in recent years.
7:30pm – 9:00pm: AKOUSTIC JUNKIES AKOUSTIC JUNKIES promises to keep the tradition of good live music alive with a selection of pop/rock classics, including You Give Love A Bad Name (Bon Jovi), Black (Pearl Jam), Hysteria (Muse) and Roadhouse Blues (The Doors). Akoustic Junkies was formed in a jam session between old friends, in a spontaneous and fun way, during the birthday of one of the then future band members. The name was chosen to emphasize the musical style in an acoustic format. The band’s official performance took place on a very special date (22.10.2012), live from the Antena 3 Madeira studio, built in the center of Funchal, as part of the 45th anniversary of RDP-Madeira. The five “Akoustic Junkies” who make up the band are: Duarte Ferreira (vocals), Marco Panama (percussion/drums), Pedro Pereira (bass), Roberto Vasconcelos (acoustic and electric guitar) and João Silva (acoustic and electric guitar).
9pm – 11pm: DJ Sergio Soares
DJ Sérgio Soares returns to keep the party going with a selection ranging from classics to contemporary hits. Sérgio Soares is a name known among the Madeiran public for his more lively musical selections. Over the years, he has performed at parties and public events, having been a resident of the major entertainment venues in Madeira.
23:00 – 01:00: DJ Oxy
To end the night on a high note, DJ OXY will bring an explosion of beats, ensuring the party ends on a high note. Romano Faria, also known as DJ Oxy, needs no introduction, with 30 years of experience, which includes residencies at some of the biggest clubs in Madeira. Naturally, the highlight will be Vespas where he has been a resident DJ for 15 years. His trademark is his versatility, he is known for playing on the dance floor and relying on it, he is energetic and infectious and he is the only DJ from Madeira to have been present in Spain on the finalists’ trips for more than 10 consecutive years of his career as a DJ, and he has been present at some of the biggest parties promoted in Madeira, for example: One Day Dance, Weekend Dance, Calheta Beach Party, Vespa Live and Electronic Dreams, Equinox, among others, where he has shared the sound booth with some national and world famous DJs, such as Carl Cox, Jeff Mills, Fede Le Grand, Mark Knight, Bingo Players, Chocolate Puma, The Shape Shifters, Delicious, Goy Burato, Mandy, Pete Heller, DJ Vibe, Bob Sinclair, Jay Garber, Audio Fly, Gabriel Ananda, Sammy Jo, Louis Light, Radio Slave, John Acquaviva, among many others.
Street Food District: A Celebration of Madeiran Gastronomy
The 2024 Street Food Zone will maintain the quality of the food, with the participation of Tipografia restaurant led by Chef Mauricio Gonçalves and Chef Diogo Vieira from Gastrobar Enseada Food and Drinks. These spaces will offer a unique blend of Mediterranean flavours, combined with influences from French, Italian and North African cuisine. For 2024, the quality and creativity are expected to continue to surprise and delight all those present.

Tickets for The Original White Remember – Festa Branca 2024 go on sale Friday, August 30th.
The ticket for the public costs 10 euros per person and can be purchased at the Clube Naval do Funchal sports complex (Nazareth), at the entrance to the CNF headquarters on Rua da Quinta Calaça, and at the Castanheiro Boutique Hotel (central Funchal). “Clube Naval do Funchal members will have free entry and will be able to get their ticket at the entrance to Quinta Calaça or at the Clube Naval do Funchal sports complex (Nazareth)”, add the event organizers.
