In compliance with the decision of the regulator of the electronic communications sector, ANACOM regarding the zero-rating and similar offerings in Portugal in the context of the open Internet, From June 8, 2023 he leavesIn most cases, there should be free traffic on mobile networks for apps and websites, so the traffic used will be deducted from your mobile internet allowance.







This ANACOM decision applies across the electronic communications sector, affecting both MEO, NOS, Vodafone and other mobile internet service providers.

In the case of MEO, applications such as MEO Cloud, MEO Drive, MEO Home, MEO Wallet, my MEO as well as the sites meo.pt, moche.pt and uzo.pt will not have free traffic on the MEO phone network.  MEO, pass usage/browsing traffic on it to be deducted from your data allowance.
The MEO Go Fora de Casa TV service is not covered by ANACOM's decision, so it will continue to transmit traffic without using MEO's mobile internet allowance.
