Devin Haney and Vasily Lomachenko will face off in a massive main event in Las Vegas this weekend as the American defends his undisputed lightweight title against the Ukrainian.
The undefeated 24-year-old Hani united the belts against George Kamposos Jr. last June by defeating the Australian in his backyard before doing so again in October to retain the title.
Prior to these fights, Camposos Jr. was undefeated and won three belts from Teofimo Lopez in 2021. In contrast, Lopez surprised Lomachenko by winning a decision in 2020 to become the unified champion.
At 35, Lomachenko may be running out of time to become world champion again, and as impressive as the left-footed’s career has been, he faces a severe test in Hani.
