One Camera Attached to the center stage of NASA’s SLS Moon rocket. NASA Recorded the moment at which there was separation between the two solid fuels of the aircraft after takeoff. In the pictures it is possible to notice one of the fallen structures on fire.
Separation occurred 2 minutes 11 seconds after takeoff, about 100 meters off the ground. It should be noted that before launch, the spacecraft suffered several technical problems and encountered bad weather due to Tropical Storm Nicole, which passed through Florida and generated winds of 120 km / h.

Fortunately, after the NASA team ironed out the technical problems and weather events took a break, the liftoff was a success. Soon, the Orion capsule should reach the moon. The boosters are the first two parts to separate from the rocket. Just a minute later, the SLS shed the cover protecting Orion during launch and the launch cancellation system. The center of the missile collapsed eight minutes after take-off.
Only the upper stage remained attached to Orion, which in this case managed to open its solar wings. Almost an hour after liftoff, Orion ditched the upper stage and set off on its own lunar voyage. The capsule is expected to enter a high orbit around Earth’s natural satellite on Saturday (26). On its way, the capsule made a close pass over the lunar surface at an altitude of only 130 kilometers.
On Tuesday (29), Orion will break the record for the farthest distance from Earth reached by a human-class spacecraft. Currently, the record is 400,171 kilometers and was set by the Apollo mission in 1970. The mission in question also had the distinction of being a rescue operation that helped the crew return home after an onboard explosion made their original moon landing impossible.
On Monday (28), it is believed that Orion will reach 432,194 km from Earth. On that day the Apollo mission record will be surpassed. Projections indicate that the capsule will return on December 11, in the Pacific Ocean, off the coast of California.
