The City Council of Vila do Conde, in the Porto region, has developed a plan for the promotion of mental health in school contexts, which aims to cover more than five thousand years of educational institutions in the municipality.

The initiative will currently continue for two academic yearsand is based on a study, already promoted by the municipality among the local school community, conducted by two teachers from the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Porto, who made a preliminary diagnosis.
