In September, Vacimóvel continues to update the vaccination status of students and workers of the municipal education network at Betim City Hall. The aim is to expand vaccination coverage among children and adolescents aged 9 to 15 years. In the first 15 days of the month, six schools will be visited. Since the beginning of educational services, in July of this year, 21 schools have been visited and 2,208 doses of vaccines have been administered.
Available vaccines are: against human papillomavirus; Against meningitis (meningococcal ACWY); Against diphtheria and tetanus (double DT for adults); And against Covid-19. Teachers and other school staff can also be immunized against MERS-CoV (bivalent) and influenza. All vaccines included in the national vaccination calendar are also available in the city’s 38 Basic Health Units (UBS).
On the day of vaccination, the student must bring the authorization signed by his or her parents or guardians and the vaccination card. Professionals must present a photo identification document as well as a vaccination card.
