Ubisoft recently revealed that it is preparing for the Division game, which will provide a third-person shooter experience on mobile. It is clearly a move to compete against mobile titles such as Apex Legends, Call of Duty Mobile, and BGMI. However, unlike three of these games, Division Mobile, which will be called ‘Division Resurgence’, will offer a similar open world experience to some of its titles on PC. Now, Ubisoft is accepting requests for the game’s Closed Alpha software so players can try the game early. Those who register for Closed Alpha will have a chance to be among the first to play the game as soon as it is launched. To register, simply go to the Ubisoft website, select the operating system on which you will play the game, i.e. Android or iOS, and finally fill in some details.
Upon release, The Division Resurgence will be a free-to-play game available on the PlayStore and the App Store. Since it will be free to play, Ubisoft will monetize the title.
Ubisoft released The Division Resurgence gameplay a few days ago and it looks good for a mobile game. The game will take place in a post-crisis US situation, where the outbreak of the virus has caused the end of the world.
The game’s story will be based on the events of some of the older Division games such as Tom Clancy’s The Division 1 and The Division 2. Players will have some PvE campaigns and various in-game items including weapons and equipment. As of now, details about the open world game are scarce, but as we progress, we should learn more from Ubisoft.
