On May 11, the Assembly of the Republic voted on a draft resolution (No. 185 / XV / 1.ª) which, as the PSD notes, aims to “strengthen the competitiveness of the interior regions …”.
With this assumption and comparing our municipality with territories with very different characteristics, Ofar appears with the recommendation to reopen the health centers of Maceda and Arada, ignoring the whole framework of issues that are really important, in terms of health, in the short and medium term, such as the importance of maintaining the Hospital of São Sebastião (Santa Maria da Fira) and fight change this reference to Aveiro.
Dealing with this nonsense, the health of the people of Ovar deserves nothing more than a request: if you do not want the best for our people, at least do not distract attention from the serious struggle that others are waging in this region.
No citizen in our Council should be subject to a judgment based on populism, demagoguery and politics. In politics it is necessary to be persuaded to stand for what best serves and respect the people, and to be steadfast in action.
