Residências Montepio – Serviços de Saúde and Universidade Nova de Lisboa – Nova IMS have signed an agreement to launch a new training offer targeting senior managers of health units, which aims to “bridging the current educational gap”.
The Management, Innovation and Leadership in Health Units course, which is open to the general public, will allow students to “acquire tools and techniques to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of health units, and to promote participation, among professionals in the sector, of new paradigms that make it possible to promote innovation and transformation, based on an innovative pedagogical model”, Emphasize the two entities.
Persons with a degree or ‘relevant professional experience’ in the health sector can apply for this course. The course will last one semester and will be coordinated by Guilherme Victorino (Sub-Director of Nova IMS), José Carlos Cayado (Assistant Professor at Nova IMS) and Carlos Lucas (Director of Clinical Planning, Control and Audit at Residências Montepio and Visiting Professor at Nova IMS).
