UEFA announced on Tuesday the European Cup venues for the next two editions of the tournament. In the 2028 dispute, Ireland and the nations of the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales) will host the matches. In 2032, national team matches will be held in Türkiye and Italy.
In its choice, the Executive Committee of the Authority chose the political formation to avoid unpleasant matters. Thus, Italy and Turkey, competing to host Euro 2028, ended up choosing to host the tournament together in the next edition.
Thus, the nomination made up of the five neighboring associations (England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales and Ireland) was the winner. For the next edition of the national team tournament, UEFA has already announced the cities that will host the matches.
In total, the tournament will feature nine venues: Birmingham, Liverpool, London, Manchester, Newcastle (England), Belfast (Northern Ireland), Glasgow (Scotland), Cardiff (Wales) and Dublin (Ireland).
For the 2032 edition, the authority informed that the venues have not yet been determined. However, UEFA announced that Italy and Turkey had submitted 20 potential venues for the matches and that ten would be identified in October 2026 (five in each country).
