The Municipal Health Department releases the schedule of vaccinations against the Covid-19 virus for the next week, August 9-13. This Saturday (8/7) there will be no action through the leadership in the administrative center.
As of Monday (8/9), the team starts vaccination against Covid-19, with the first dose, for people aged 29 years or over, without comorbidities, in health centers in the morning, by appointment, and in the post noon. Shift, no scheduling required. At the Municipal Vaccination Center in the Kanabaru District (Redentor Community), the application is submitted in the afternoon only, from 1:30 pm to 6:00 pm, without the need to make an appointment in advance.
On Tuesday (10/8), the vaccination will be extended for people aged 28 or over, and on Wednesday (11/8) for people aged 27 or over.
In parallel with this schedule, vaccination of adolescents aged 12-17 years with comorbidities, and pregnant women aged 12-17 years in general, continues in health centers, by appointment.
Change in vaccination sites
Beginning Monday (8/9) the Bairro Lanjero Municipal Vaccination Center located in the Martin Luther Community Hall will be closed. As a result, in August and September, influenza vaccinations (for priority groups) and Covid-19 will be applied from 12:30 pm, at the health center in Bairro Languiru, without the need to make an appointment in advance. In other health centers, working hours are normal, from 7:30 am to 11:30 am and from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
The Kanabaru neighborhood vaccination center, located next to Redentor Community Hall, will continue to operate in the afternoon, from 1:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., with no prior appointments required.

The second dose is vaccinated normally, Monday through Friday, without the need for an appointment, at the Municipal Vaccination Center in Bairro Kanabaru, in the afternoon, from 1:30 pm to 6:00 pm. People who received the first dose at health centers can call in the mail and schedule a second dose.
Influenza vaccination
The city is also boosting demand for seniors, over the age of 60, and other priority groups who show up to receive a flu vaccination. There are still reserved doses. Vaccination takes place in all health centers and at the Municipal Vaccination Center in Kanabaru District, from 1:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., without the need for prior appointments.
