By order of the Ministry of Health, influenza vaccination was extended to the population from the age of 6 months. Thus, Magé Immunisiation maintains service in 30 positions that have already been serving priority groups since April. Immunization poles against influenza virus (which causes influenza) are service-specific and are distributed in six districts of the municipality.
According to the immunization coordinator, Henrique Moreira, all people should get the flu shot, except for babies under 6 months of age and people who are allergic to eggs.
