The Raquel Lombardi Association is promoting, on November 7-8, the Second International Conference on Health and Inclusion, at the Escola Superior de Enfermagem São José de Cluny and at ISAL.
This public utility institution, in partnership with the above entities and Ponte Editora, will organize the Second International Conference on Health and Inclusion, – Madeira Island 2022, dedicated to the themes “Health in the Digital Age” and “Education and Inclusion”.
Free admission. The conference opens on November 7th, in Escola São José de Cluny, starting at 2:15 pm, with the opening speech by Rafaela Fernandez, Chairman of the Board of Directors of SESARAM.
The conference aims to “be a forum that brings together scientific-technical thinking in the fields under study” and will feature more than twenty distinguished keynote speakers, university professors, researchers, professionals and technicians with a unified and interdisciplinary track, in various fields. under discussion.

Carlos Costa Gómez, Postdoctoral in Bioethics and Narrative Medicine, Ph.D. in Bioethics, Guest Assistant Professor and Researcher at the Portuguese Red Cross Northern School of Health; Professor at the Instituto Bioética da Universidade Católica Portuguesa, he was Director of this Institute and coordinated the Master in Bioethics (2016-2020). He is currently the Chair of the Center for Bioethics Studies. José Luis Casanova, Ph.D., Sociology, Associate Professor at ISCTE-IUL, Instituto Universitário de Lisboa and Researcher at CIES-IUL; Fernando Fernandez, General Surgeon, working in the field of Gerontology, was University Professor (1970-1980) and Assistant at the Postgraduate Hospital of the Portuguese Institute of Oncology (1980-2003); Alberto Rocha, guest assistant professor at the Higher Institute of Pedagogical Sciences in Douro, in Education Department. Specialist training in special education – perceptual and kinesthetic; Marta Dora Ornellas, MD, Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Life Sciences, University of Madeira and Specialist in General and Family Medicine at SESARAM, is a member of the Board of the Faculty of General and Family Medicine of the Portuguese Medical Association; Eduardo Leit, Ph.D. in Management, Vice President of the College of Technology and Management, Assistant Professor at the University of Madeira and Director of Ponte Editra; Sancha de Campanilla, Deputy Director General of ISAL, PhD student in Economic and Commercial Sciences, LL.M. and MA in Business Administration and Marketing, Professor of Higher Education, Lawyer and Member of the Human Rights Committee of the Portuguese Bar Association; Candida Carvalho, Funchal Pole Coordinator for the Center for Bioethics Studies, PhD student in law; Mustafa Al-Tunisi, teacher and researcher at Gazi University, Turkey.
