Yesterday, the Nova Santa Rosa City Hall Department of Health organized an educational outcome to combat dengue fever.
Deputy Mayor and Minister of Health, Nwiddy Hardt, was present at the toll booth near Praça da Bible along with the health coordinator, Lígia Rambo, and the team of endemic disease control agents.
The Minister of Health called for the cooperation of the population in combating dengue fever.
We can’t leave standing water for the mosquito to breed.
We ask for attention on All Souls Day, when many will leave a flower vase at the cemetery. So you have to be careful before and after, so that there is no water inside the vase.
“Together we can prevent dengue fever,” Nuedi explained, asking people to welcome endemic disease workers into their homes.
Specialists also distributed brochures and talked to citizens about the main precautions, such as: not leaving stagnant water, keeping garbage bins covered and protecting them from rain.
Utensils containing water for animals should be washed thoroughly, at least twice a week.
Also, keep dishes for vases and plants clean, put sand on the edges, and don’t let anything accumulate water, from a plastic bottle cap to a dirty gutter, among other things.
