Well, there’s a lot going on at Gamescom this week, but let’s take a moment to honor these new skins that Microsoft officially announced this week. It turns out that the Xbox Series X can be customized in a simple and beautiful way.
Until then, we’d only seen concept images of these skins, but at Gamescom we got to see them “in person” and it really looks like Microsoft got it right here.

We love all the little details about this, and it looks like it will blend in seamlessly with the existing headset and controller options in Starfield. The back of the box also looks very cool, especially with the big logo right there!
If this is the first time you’ve seen this, Microsoft announced a set of “Console Wraps” for the Xbox Series X earlier this week as a way for fans to outfit their consoles with different designs.
