To highlight fathers and fathers statistics from across the country, the analysis explored Instagram hashtag data and revealed the most shared and appreciated best places for content related to fathers life in the UK.
Essex Litera O Top Instatat
The new study looked at publicly available Instagram posts over the past three months based on their geolocation tags and the number of cities in major UK regions, districts and cities where parents share the most parenting related content.
Essex tops the list as the district with the most active institutes, posting more about Dad’s life or appearing in their family feeds. Essex Parent & Parent Statistics is the second “option” in the country, after Leicestershire parents, which leads the number of Instalix for parent-related content.
London parents also want to capture their proud father’s moments, ranking second in the number of posts related to parenting and sixth when it comes to the most popular content on Instagram.
In terms of population size, Essex Parents ranks third in the list of parent life content per 1000 counties, with Northumberland and Southampton parents sharing the platform. Yet Essex parents share 95 times more family content on Instagram than Londoners.
The most active institutes in the south-east and east of England
Overall, regional reports suggest that instates in the southeast and east of the UK are more active and receive more likes in posts about father’s life, while northeastern and northern Ireland are home to less active Instagram parents.
At the district level, Milton Keynes, Stirling, Hartlbull, Monmouthshire, Gaitnes, Peterborough, South Gloucestershire, Rexham, Durrock and Balkirk share the last place in the rankings, with the lowest content related to parents.
Parents in Newport lead Instalix
Looking at city data, Welsh father figures share some of the most impressive posts on father life, with Newport having the largest number of installs for this type of content, followed by Fly in London and Northumberland.
When measuring the amount of content, city-wide hashtag analysis reveals that Londoners are the best instadates in the country, and that parents in Liverpool, Southampton and Leeds continue to follow.
However, this is Closeup, a small town in Derbyshire where parents share Instagram content related to their parents to over 1000 residents – more than twice as much as Lincoln.
Lincoln’s own parents share parental content per 1,000 residents 12.5 times more than London’s parents. London parents are among the top twenty instant cities in the country in terms of their population size.

The study also examined the number of profiles with public Instagram posts that have generated more likes and used dad-related hashtags in the past three months, and also listed the best dads who are gaining more recognition on the platform for their exciting family life content.
