The Official Journal of the Union (DOU) published on Friday (5/19) the decree of the Ministry of Health on the criteria for dividing supplementary federal resources for the payment of minimum nursing categories.
The decree was published after President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva ratified the law that made it possible to pay the national nursing sum by opening a special credit of R$7.3 billion in the 2023 budget, which will be transferred to the states, municipalities and the Federal District.
With the new way of dividing resources, all municipal administrations will receive a minimum transfer from the federation. The criteria noted socio-economic and demographic issues, with the aim of considering municipalities with low purchasing power.
It should be noted that it is not within the competence of the Ministry of Health to set standards related to working hours, salary standards and bonus systems established between subnational entities and their servants, nor between private companies and their employees.
The Ministry of Health formed a committee to follow up and meet the various demands related to the transfer of federal resources to support the implementation of the word. The volume believes in interdisciplinary dialogue to meet the challenge.
