Doctor Raisa Soares, Minister of Health in Porto Seguro, in the south of Bahia, was the victim of a messaging app scam. The case occurred last Monday (17), when she reported the situation on social media and said that she had duplicated the application number.
“Unfortunately, they use Covid-19 and the name of the Ministry of Health to be able to clone the lines,” the doctor said in a video posted on Instagram.
According to the secretary, She received a call from a number with area code 61Used by cities in the large area of Brasilia, within the Federal District, which she said That it be a Ministry of Health survey about Covid-19.

However, the requested symbol caused the secretary’s messaging app to be cloned.

In the post posted on the social network, Raissa Soares asked his followers to share information, in order to alert people about the coup. It also said that the cloned number will be deactivated.
However, the secretary did not say if anyone had reported experiencing a coup attempt by an impersonator.
