The visit included a meeting with the company’s management, in which the manager of the Losado unit, Pedro Carrera, informed the official about the level of professional and academic qualification of more than 2,600 employees. He also took the opportunity to present some figures related to the investments made in the Lousado plant, which in the past ten years have exceeded 600 million euros. Some ongoing projects were also presented, with a particular focus on those related to innovation and sustainability.
Naturally, the congestion caused by the expansion of the company, namely the lack of a Phase 3 section of exceeding EN 14, has also been addressed.
