A team from the Ministry of Health visited the Regulation Center of the State Ministry of Health on Monday (4), and on the agenda was the assessment of the behavior of the SES of complaints published in the press regarding pre-hospital regulation through Samu.
From the Ministry of Health, the General Emergency Coordinator, Felipe Augusto Ricci, and the Technical Advisor, Karen de Lima e Silva, attended. They were received by Secretary Arita Bergmann and Director of the SUS Audit Department, Bruno Naundorf.
According to the ministry’s coordinator, the goal of the meeting, based on the complaint, is to verify how the department is handling the case and the ongoing investigations. “As well as the measures the state has already taken to correct and ensure that residents are served in the best possible way,” Ricky added. He added: “We will monitor this with the State Secretariat and ensure that the measures are adopted as soon as possible.”
According to Minister Arrieta, the visit was very important as it was also possible to hold a dialogue on several possible future actions with the support of the Ministry of Health. In this sense, we have addressed some important points, such as expanding the SAMO service bases,” Grande do Sul said. He added: “The Ministry is with us so that we can give Samu its true meaning, and provide the necessary conditions for its full work, which is to respond to emergency situations and restore the hospital in the state of Rio Grande do Sul.”
During the meeting, some service indicators in the country were also presented, showing that the response time for Samu 192 in Republika Srpska declined by more than 30% in recent years. The data refers to the period from January to July of this year, which represents a decrease of more than eight minutes compared to recent years.
