City councils have extended the polio vaccination campaign until November 30, along with the multiple vaccination campaign, in accordance with the decisions of the state government of São Paulo.

The DS received a response from the City Council of Susanoo, Mogi das Cruzes, Itacoquisitoba, Ferraz de Vasconcelos, Boa, Guararema and Santa Isabel. Of these cities, not only Itacoa and Guararima will not be extended.
The first campaign lasted from August 8-30 and lasted until October 31. Now it will run until November 30th.
The decision comes on the heels of a multiple vaccination campaign launched by the state government of São Paulo, for children and adolescents to update the vaccination handbook. Among the vaccines, there is only one polio vaccine.

For officials, children and teens should appear with the vaccination notebook to update any overdue doses. All vaccines are available at basic health units (UBSs) in municipalities.
Itaquá e Guararema has ended the polio campaign, but maintains multiple vaccinations according to the control group (Gv8) guidelines.
According to the Boa Department of Health, the general contraindication to any vaccine is anaphylaxis, or severe sensitivity, to any component of the vaccine or after a previous dose of it.
According to municipal administrations, those with an incomplete immunization schedule for their age receive the vaccine, except for those with a fever or medical restrictions.
In Susano, on November 26, there will be special vaccinations in the Basic Health Unit (UBS) in Jardim Colorado, in the Family Health Unit (USF) in Villa Fatima and in the Family Health Unit (USF) Eduardo Nacamura (Miguel Padra Baixo) from 8 am AM to 3 PM.
The municipalities of Aruga, Beritba, Mirim and Salsopolis did not call back.
