hEllen Campos, a 21-year-old resident of the Brazilian state of Pará, left limousines, beetles or buggies aside on her wedding day. Instead, he decided to go down the aisle in a more original way: on a backhoe.
According to the Globo G1 portal, the wedding took place on Sunday, April 9, and the young Brazilian woman wanted to pay tribute to her father, who has always been involved with this type of car.
“My fiancé wanted so badly to leave the church to see me and I arrived and they wouldn’t let him out. All the guests ran to see what was happening outside,” Helen told G1.
“I wanted to do it differently, because nobody thinks that way. People just want luxury and I don’t think so. Plus being able to honor my dad who taught me everything I know, we even work together, providing service with backhoe loaders.”
In a video, available in the gallery above, it is possible to watch the entire process of the bride’s journey, from entering the car shovel – lined with black plastic so as not to get dirty – to arriving at the church.
