This Saturday, starting at noon, London will host a large march as part of the campaign for the return of the United Kingdom to the European Union (EU), the “England National Reunification March”, which aims to unite living British citizens. and Jobs in Europe for people living in the United Kingdom – the demonstration will be attended by several MEPs, including former Belgian Prime Minister Guy Verhofstadt, Renew Europe and Terry Reintke, Greens.
The march will focus on Brexit issues related to young people, many of whom voted to remain in the EU and would be most affected by the UK’s exit from the EU: they are expected to be heavily represented at the march.
Participants will gather in Hyde Park at 12 noon and the protest will begin an hour later. The march is expected to pass through Piccadilly, St James’s Street, Pall Mall, Trafalgar Square and Whitehall before concluding with several speeches in Parliament Square at around 3pm. Based on previous pro-EU rallies, tens of thousands of people will take part.
Security forces will be strengthened and mobilized to facilitate surveillance and demonstration. Roads along the parade route will be temporarily closed to traffic, which is expected to cause localized disruption.
