a cable I released the last update for this year on Friday (30th). Version 9.3 of the messaging app, which is available to all users, brings many new features and privacy tweaks to group members and administrators.
New drawing and text tools
To make its drawing editor more complete, Telegram will dynamically change the size of the brush based on the speed at which the user is swiping a finger. This function is similar to a brush Instagram storiesallowing for smoother, more natural strokes.
To complement the editing capabilities, the messenger gets a blur tool that allows you to mask certain areas of the image, as well as a “eyedropper” tool to select the color tone in the image itself.
To save time, Telegram will offer predefined geometric shapes that can be inserted into photos and videos. Images include rectangles, circles, vector arrows, stars, and letter balloons.
Users will also be able to change the size, font, and background of texts when uploading photos or videos. Previously exclusive to Telegram Premium subscribers, the entire audience will now be able to insert custom animated emojis into photos.
Hidden averages to avoid spoilers
In addition to formatting private text to hide specific words or phrases, Telegram will now allow users to hide photos and videos sent to an individual or group chat. The texture will be hidden behind a layer that warps the image and adds an animated shiny effect to indicate that this is a “spoiler”.
specific storage settings
With the new update, it is possible to add separate automatic removal settings for cached media and set exceptions for specific conversations. This will allow users to limit the amount of cached photos, videos, and other files they receive from individual chats, groups, and channels.
Telegram is adding pie charts that help you visualize what types of files are taking up space on your device’s local storage.
Avatars
Users will be able to choose new profile pictures for their contacts. They will not be able to see the new selected photo, but it will be possible to “suggest” them to use the photo through the “Suggest a photo for …” button after touching “Edit” on the contact’s profile.
Another novelty in this area is the ability to select a photo that will be shown to people who can’t see your real profile picture. When visibility is set to Contacts or Nobody, a new option titled Set Public Picture will appear.
Hide group members
Managers of groups with more than 100 members will be able to hide the list of participants, giving inactive members more privacy. “If people don’t send messages in the group, only moderators will know they are there,” Telegram explains.
New animation for Android
Telegram is getting new animations for navigating to a remote reply, clicking links, and other scenarios. This change is specific to the Android version.
Animated and interactive emoji
There are 10 new custom animated emoji packs exclusive to Premium subscribers – which have earned the amazing branding of 1 million customers in just 5 months. The numbers can be found on the dashboard. attachmentsinside the emoji tab.
Also, there are seven new interactive emojis that fill the cell phone screen with animation when sent in a private conversation. The treated numbers are ð , ð, âïļ, ðŋ, ð and ðĪŠ. When sending, just tap on the emoji and watch the magic happen. It will also be available as a response to messages.
The update is available for Android and iOS users through their respective app stores: Play Store and App Store.
