At the beginning of this year, rumors surfaced that Tama Tonga might sign a contract with WWE, as the latter is interested in signing him.
Although Fightful said that Tama Tonga’s contract with NJPW is about to expire, he recently confirmed that he has renewed his contract with the promoter.
In an interview with Fightful, he also confirmed that he has been in talks with WWE about a potential signing:
