Sporting wants four more titles and insists with FPF

Last Monday, the federation presented two opinions in recounting the titles, and neither of them met Sporting’s desire.

Sporting has asked the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) to discuss its opinion claiming that there are four other national championships not included in the General Assembly (AG) due to take place on the 29th. According to the regulations, it will be up to MAG to introduce or not a new agenda item.

Last Monday, the federation submitted two opinions in the recounting of titles carried out by independent bodies, and neither of them met the wishes of the lions, so Sporting submitted within five days, according to the regulations, a request, requesting that. The proposal is included in the General Assembly at the end of the month, as they continue to claim more titles won (23) rather than the current 19.

Sporting believes that the Portuguese championship should be counted as a national champion title. According to the regulations of the FPF, “Amendments, modifications or additions to proposals on the agenda shall be communicated by the parties concerned to the Chairman of the General Assembly, within a maximum period of five days from the date of the call, for that, to inform the other delegates.
