DrAfter a day off on Friday, Sporting’s main squad returned to training in Lagos on Saturday and Ruben Amorim had three reasons to smile.
The national champions coach is now able to count on Morten Hjulmand and reinforcement from Zeno Debast, a duo who were present for the first time at the Lions’ training session after completing the holiday period. Both arrived in Lagos on Friday.
On the other hand, Victor Gioqueres recovered from a knee injury and trained on the pitch with his other teammates in Algarve.
The national champions are scheduled to hold a new training session on Sunday morning, starting at 10am, with the first 15 minutes open to the media.
Before the session, a player from the yet-to-be-determined team will make statements to reporters.
