The union also stressed in a statement that the Syndicate of Social Workers, which was created under the 2019 legislation, “is still dormant, because the Ministry of Labor, Solidarity and Social Security continues to successively extend the mandate of the inauguration committee, instead of publishing” the necessary regulations so that elections can be called and the bodies elected. concerned.
The union body warned that “social workers are exhausted from work fatigue,” and announced that it would soon establish a working group to prepare a guide for organizing and operating the profession, which will include professional social service centers.
In addition, SNAS will request a hearing from the Ministry of Health and various entities, ensuring that they “value dialogue to reach compromises at the expense of the usual forms of union struggle.”
