Shawn Mendes decided to take a break from his tour in the name of mental health.
This Friday, July 7, the 23-year-old singer announced that he will be postponing some concerts on the tour.
He revealed, “It breaks my heart to say this, but unfortunately I will have to postpone the next three weeks of shows.”
The artist recalls that he has been touring since he was 15 and that it was always difficult for him to be “away from his family and friends.”
“I felt ready to go back, but the decision was premature and unfortunately I took hold of the road and pressure and reached the breaking point”on Instagram.
“I need to take time out to heal and take care of myself and my mental health”complete, promising to give news soon.
