Amil’s owner, American United Health, transfers to Personal Healthcare, which has just over 10,000 policyholders, and to Fiord Capital’s most recent fund, 370,000 individual health insurance policyholders from its subsidiaries. The reason is the huge loss caused by these old plans, with strict contracts regarding corrections. For the Brazilians to deal with the problem, the Americans will pay them 3 billion R$, in the form of four hospitals and still close to R$2 billion to continue covering portfolio losses.
It is a sale where the seller pays. So it really is a cause for curiosity. Loss end predictions are ridiculous. If applied to cover this (highlight if), the money will not last up to two years. And then?
A health plan similar to this business led to countless lawsuits, when it was transferred from Golden Cross to Unimed. Policyholders, of course, were hurt. But the National Health Agency does not issue memory signals. A billion jobs, you know.
no escape
The second-tier detention bill had, in the next few days, re-scheduled its consideration by the Special Committee. He was removed from the session last week by the rapporteur due to a certain defeat. In order to make possible early arrest, which the Constitution does not allow before all appeals have been exhausted, MP Fabio Trad (PSD) proposes to cancel the appeal to the Supreme Court and the Supreme Court of Justice. Eduardo Cuna is one of the people whose highest conviction has been overturned, to run the process in the criminal court, which should be in the electoral court. The annulment of convictions by Lava Jatos proves the legal validity of what the Constitution says. And there are still more cancellations planned to break down erroneous operations and sentences, not just for Morrow-style bad faith. There is no way out: either you keep the constitution, and arrests only when resources are exhausted, or arbitrary and unjust arrests are accepted: provisions of hatred.
