German-made Taurus missiles, ordered by Ukraine, are slow to get the “green light” for delivery to Kiev, and there is an “individual” person responsible: German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, who vetoed the decision to transfer the missiles. Missiles from a distance.

In the Bundestag (German Parliament), the feeling of revolution and opposition to Schulz’s decision is growing, which the head of the Parliamentary Defense Committee, Marie-Agnes Strack Zimmermann, accuses of being “irresponsible.”

“At the moment” he does not want to hand over Taurus. But “at the moment” people are still dying in Ukraine. What is the chancellor waiting for? For God’s sake! And he is the only one obstructing this decision within the coalition. The MP considered this irresponsible.

“Momentan” will er #Taurus nicht liefern.” “Momentan” sterben aber weiter die Menschen in der #Ukraine. Auf was wartet der @Bundeskanzler In gotis namein? Er alleine blockiert diese Entscheidung Innerhalb der Koalition. This is new. https://t.co/QSf2rfr9ix

The reaction comes after Bild newspaper reported that Scholz is concerned that Ukrainian forces may begin using long-range Taurus missiles to directly attack Russian territory, following drone attacks in recent weeks.

According to government sources, the German executive authority is waiting for US President Joe Biden to make a decision to send ATACMS missiles, but Schulz believes that the “green light” to send Germany Taurus missiles will not make sense until the F-16 fighters are delivered to Kiev.
