In these contacts, they took the opportunity to raise some questions about the Portuguese community, such as visas and residence permits, and the United Kingdom’s connection with the Horizonte project, which is of interest to Portuguese scientific researchers working in British institutions.
Santos Silva and the Portuguese delegation also attended a plenary session, which was attended by British Deputy Prime Minister Oliver Dowden on behalf of Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, who was absent for a NATO summit in Lithuania.
