For HDS Chairman Ana Infante, “HDS recognition for good health practices is synonymous with the vitality of the hospital and the excellence and professionalism of its professionals.” The aim of “OficiNa.com – Cognitive Rehabilitation Workshop”, which started in 2016, is to intervene in the cognitive rehabilitation of people with mental illness, to improve their functionality and quality of life and to promote their professional reintegration. Participants in these workshops carry out an advanced, individual and unique cognitive rehabilitation training, centered around the difficulties they face and their aspirations as a person, based on a computer system developed in Germany (Rehacom®) and on the latest research in the field of neuropsychology, effective in improving cognitive performance and with evidence Scientific. 95.7% of the users who participated in the cognitive rehabilitation workshops did not need admission to a psychiatric service, which indicates the success of this project. OficiNa.com – The Cognitive Rehabilitation Workshop Project is one of 14 finalists for the 16th edition of the Good Practices in Health Award, selected from a total of nearly three hundred applications submitted. The final presentation will be presented at the 46th World Hospital Congress, on October 24, at the Lisbon Convention Centre.
