“Information clarity is one of the key features of the solution that Santander is bringing to Brazil. The goal is to enable anyone to take control and manage their financial life,” says Flávio Morais, Executive Supervisor of Digital Strategy at Santander, in a statement.
The tool is based on “analysis of the customer’s transaction history in his checking account and cards”. With this, the account holder can be notified even if the installments of the loan he has in another bank have better terms in Santander.

The tool has been used since last year in some operations in Europe, such as the United Kingdom and Spain.
In Brazil, the bank states that “a new solution comes to increase the functionality of the Santander ON tool, which currently links the customer with information about his financial life, such as income, limits, regularity of CPF and any restrictions on services provided to credit protection.” In the future, information from other banks will be aggregated through open financing.
