south korean technology Samsung It has now started updating a couple of system apps that are on millions of Android tablets and smartphones, in preparation for the arrival of the next version of the interface. At stake are Samsung Notes and Samsung Clock apps, with new functionality and some changes to the overall design.
Anticipating the arrival of the Android 13 operating system from Google, we have seen the first glimpses of One UI 5. Note that this will be the next major update for Samsung smartphones, which will cover almost all the functional and aesthetic aspects of the system with additions and special Samsung customizations.
One UI 5 will bring Android 13 to Samsung smartphones
Google recently released the latest beta (beta) version of Android 13. Additionally, as we announced on a previous occasion at 4gnews, the tech company said that the stable version will arrive “within the next few weeks”. In other words, we won’t have to wait any longer for the next iteration of this OS to see the light of day.
However, Samsung has already started laying the groundwork for a “major update” one app at a time. It does so, in fact, with new versions of Samsung’s own Notes and Clock apps. It is also important to emphasize that the report was first introduced by publication SamMobilealways attentive to the designs of South Korean technology.
Minor changes to Samsung’s Notes apps and the clock
Also according to the mentioned source, in addition to the changes listed in Change, we have the possibility to define a line smaller than 8 points. It’s just a curiosity, but if you want to take advantage of this feature in the Notes app, you can do so by simply updating to v4.3.14.39.
There are also some improvements to Samsung Clock with v. 12.1.21.1. Here, we basically have minor changes to the graphic interface of the application, without adding new functions to the system application.
In particular, we have minor visible changes to the Cancel and Save buttons when setting an alert in the app. Either way, the buttons will be more visible and easier to spot when using the app.
Additionally, we have a mix of improvements for both apps, such as accessibility options, bug fixes, and stability improvements, among other details. This will be one of the last updates before One UI 5 arrives.
Finally, both updates can be done through the Galaxy Store, the Samsung App Center. Note, however, that its availability will not be instant, and may take a few hours or days to reach all regions of the world.
