Samsung continues to make the One UI 6.1 update available to more and more devices, and the latest to feature the new feature is the Galaxy Tab A9.
According to several sourcesThe update is now available for the Galaxy Tab A9 in several countries. Reports indicate that at the moment the focus seems to be on the European region, although we are yet to confirm the update directly in Portugal.
The update is being provided with build X115XXU2BXE2, which focuses on the LTE variant of the device. This still has the April 2024 update directly from Google, and has a final size of 1.5GB.
Although One UI 6.1 focused heavily on Galaxy AI, Samsung’s artificial intelligence tools, it is not available for this model – perhaps due to hardware limitations.
However, improvements have been made in terms of system performance and stability, as well as the inclusion of new user interface elements, and animations are now more fluid.
As always, the update is available via the company’s OTA system, and users can search for it directly from the device settings. It should start arriving on more devices over the next few days.
