Samsung Galaxy S24 FE Accidentally listed by a UK operator This Friday. The move has attracted attention as the device is slated to launch by the end of the year.
However, we now know that the Galaxy S24 FE is actually in an advanced development process and its number is SM-S721U.
The smartphone will also have other numbers: SM-S721B, SM-S721U, SM-S721W and SM-S721N for global markets, US, Korea and Canada respectively.
As expected, Samsung's new affordable phone should have support for 5G connectivity and NFC for contactless payments with Samsung Pay.
Currently, we don't have a complete technical sheet for the Galaxy S24 FE, as the “season” of certifications with regulatory agencies hasn't started yet.
However, earlier leaks revealed that the Galaxy S24 FE should be announced globally with a chipset from the Exynos lineup. The screen is a 6.7-inch AMOLED 2X with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
Also, the smartphone will have variants with up to 12GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of internal storage, while the main camera will offer a 50MP resolution.
The package is complemented by a 4,500 mAh battery and Android 14 operating system. So far, Samsung has remained quiet about the rumors surrounding the Galaxy S24 FE.
