On Wednesday, the Russian Foreign Ministry announced the inclusion of 30 more Britons in the blacklist of people banned from entering the country, accusing them of supporting Ukraine and spreading anti-Russian news.
“The decision was made to blacklist 30 leaders of British entities, who are responsible for the coordinated promotion of an anti-Russian media agenda, and representatives of the British defense ‘lobby’,” the Russian diplomat said in a statement.
The ministry justified this action due to the “unfriendly” course of the United Kingdom, “in which London takes measures aimed at discrediting the Russian special military operation in Ukraine and provides subsequent aid to the Nazi regime in Kyiv.”
Among those sanctioned, the Russian Ministry of Information’s statement cited director of public relations and communications, Francis Ingham, co-founder of the PR Network, Nikki Rigazzoni, and chemical weapons expert Hamish of Bretton-Gordon.
The Russian Foreign Ministry accuses Ingham of appealing to British companies to cut economic ties with Russia, and of coordinating anti-Russian media campaigns with Regazzoni.
Russian diplomacy criticized the Bretton-Gordon Agreement for “expressing expert opinions” about Russia’s intention to use chemical weapons in the UK and Ukraine.
