Robin Roa is used to taking everything said about him easily, which on Thursday 30th June did not happen. The anchor gave an interview to a magazine that was published on June 21st and in the meantime has ended up being broadcast in other media outlets.
In that conversation, among other things, Robin Roa assumed the desire to do a reality show, believing that he had the right profile.
Later, because of all that was said about these statements on TV shows and other magazines, Robin Roa decided to provide an explanation, using Instagram stories.
“An interview that takes place at a certain place and time is subject to a specific context. Thus, good journalism and journalistic duty must respect this temporal context; because the truth of the statements often depends on the reality on the date in question,” writes the TV presenter.
“I find it unfortunate that any media, rather rosy, should perpetuate a given interview over time, thus taking advantage of my good intentions to create news in a piecemeal fashion, using time at its leisure and creating its own context. It’s bad journalism; it’s not ignorance, it’s Really bad nature.”
