The special episode of “Friends”, which aired last July, may be short-lived, but it will lead to a rapprochement between two cast members: Jennifer Aniston (Rachel) and David Schwimmer (Ross).
According to British magazine Closer, filming the Millionaire episode was a reminder to the actors of the chemistry they already had when the series was still on. “Friends” began broadcasting 25 years ago and is one of the most successful programs in American television history.
Actor David Schwimmer does not confirm, saying that what unites the two actors is a great friendship. However, Closer quotes a source close to the actors saying that Aniston was cooking for Schwimmer in her home and the two were spotted together on a visit to a wine farm in Santa Barbara, California. The same source says, “They started exchanging messages as soon as they finished filming. David flew from New York to see Jane in Los Angeles.”
For their participation in this year’s episode, the “Friends” team earned an overall 16.5 million euros.
