Importance of vaccination:
Polio, also known as polio, is a serious disease that can cause irreversible paralysis, especially of the lower extremities. Since 1994, Brazil has been free of the polio virus, but the Ministry of Health stresses the importance of vaccination to prevent the virus from returning to the country.
Message to parents:
It is essential that parents and guardians seize this opportunity to ensure their children are immunized. Vaccination is an act of love and care, and is essential to keeping our children healthy and protected. Don’t leave it for later! Come to the vaccination room on June 8th and contribute to a polio-free future.
Engenheiro Coelho City Council and Department of Health – together for a healthier and safer future for our children!
